ROAR

The Jez Cook Trio plays early and mid-period Django Reinhardt numbers as authentically as possible, except that Jez, who is a professional musician and teacher, has all his fingers. The two other blokes are doctors.

Hathor, named after the Egyptian Goddess of the Sky, Music, Dancing, Love, Beauty etc, is an amateur Middle Eastern Dance (aka belly dancing) group, based in Oxfordshire, some of whose members have been dancing together since 1999. They perform regularly at shows, community events, parties etc, and also organise one of the region’s best known Haflas – a sell-out show featuring more than 80 dancers. Known for their enthusiasm, humour and willingness to try different styles, Hathor is not only a dance group but a group of good friends.
